I am Anne-Louise, the designer and maker -and so much more!- at Creations DANA Jewellery, a line of handcrafted contemporary jewelry defined by the creative use of upcycled vinyl records. Haaa! Being from winter wonderland, I always find it strange around this festive time of year that there is no snow and freezing cold but instead green grass and wet coming from the sky. Experiment more. That's what I want to do more of this coming year. In general. . Not setting boundaries nor goals or expectations; just going with that gut feeling that I need to create more and/or differently. . Ideas have been brewing, for a long time, related to my work, or not. I don't want to wait to have the perfect idea or to be mastering a medium to perfection. Wavy cardboard will be fine, that line that doesn't feel like it belongs will be fine, the sentence that sounds funny will be fine. It'll all be fine. . I made this out of a vinyl record sleeve, cardboard (recycled) and acrylic paint and it makes me feel good 💥.
